Job Description:

Wilson Security is currently recruiting for professional and customer service orientated Security Officers for our client sites based in Burnie, Tasmania.

The primary role of the Security Officer will include (but not limited to):

  • Providing high quality front-line customer service;
  • Risk identification and conflict resolution; 
  • Security duties including but not limited to: responding to incidents or emergencies, directing appropriate responses and report writing.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • High degree of customer service experience and the ability to show empathy to patients and members of the public;
  • Professional personal presentation;
  • Understanding of Dynamic Security Principles;
  • Experience within the security services industry;
  • Experience working in a hospital environment (favourable).

As a requirement of the position the successful candidate will have:

  • A current and valid Tasmania Security Licence;
  • First Aid Certificate;
  • Certificate II Security;
  • Previous experience in Security;
  • The right to work in Australia; and
  • Drivers Licence.
