An opportunity exists for an experienced Client Services Manager to join our rapidly growing team based in Darwin. This position assumes functional responsibility and full accountability for managing a Darwin based contracts, including the strategic direction and profitability.

 

About the Role

As the Client Services Manager you will provide leadership, guidance and direction to all contract teams and direct reports to ensure that they are able to perform their roles effectively & efficiently. Be a direct focal point for all clients and their needs.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Setting appropriate objectives for each team member, whilst providing clear communication and direction for senior personnel
  • Conducting regular meetings with employees to review group performance and set action plans and agreed timelines
  • Providing accurate and timely information on performance, vacancies  and action plans to the Regional  Manager
  • Responding to employee matters including staff turnover, poor performance and termination
  • Overseeing management of overheads such as resourcing, labour with contracts
  • Monitoring site performance through statistical data and communicate variances as required
  • Planning for future site requirements and providing recommendations to the State Operations Manager
  • Liaising with all clients on matters of reporting and contract performance
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and legislative requirements including IR, EEO, OH&S and Awards,
  • Implement and maintain the WS Quality System as prescribed by the Quality Manual, Procedures Manual and Work Instructions
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships as well as with other key stakeholders
  • Driving business development opportunities within existing contracts

 

The suitable applicant will demonstrate:

  • Prior experience in a multi-site operational environment
  • Have sound knowledge of  HR/IR requirements
  • High level of management experience
  • Significant experience in delegation and project management
  • Ability to manage and meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage a large team of people

In addition you will have proactive problem solving skills and an ability to interact and manage relationships with people, combined with the ability to liaise with senior clients and a range of key stakeholders. A relevant tertiary qualification will also be highly regarded.
