ABOUT THE ROLE
An opportunity currently exists within Wilson Security for a Security Site Manager.  This role will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operation and performance of site security, ensuring effective service delivery and compliance with client requirements.  The position of Site Security Manager is the primary point of contact for clients and visitors to the site, and will provide visible leadership and customer service at the front line. This role will be working at one of our prestigious corporate sites, located in Sydney’s CBD.

The position will involve:

  • Responsibility for overseeing the day to day operations;
  • Managing shift rosters for a team of Security Officers;
  • Providing leadership and operational support to site security employees;
  • Managing quality systems to ensure compliance;
  • Service delivery quality assurance including auditing and reporting requirements.

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following experience and attributes:

 

 

  • Possession of a current New South Wales Security License (compulsory requirement);
  • Proven experience in the security industry as a Site Manager or Security Consultant highly regarded);
  • Previous experience within a corporate security environment (highly regarded);
  • Knowledge of CCTV, Fire Control Panel and Access Control systems (highly regarded);
  • Experience in leading a team to achieve excellence in client relationships;
  • Ability to mentor and support site staff to achieve required performance levels;
  • A sound understanding of OHS issues and the ability to manage identified risks;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels and produce high quality performance reports;
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, analyse and resolve operational issues;
  • Excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task;
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment;
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
